New challenges, New venue
It became apparent early during the 2009 event that we had outgrown the site at Dewey Lane farm. Space and access restrictions along with the annual problems obtaining a license forced Dubliminal to face the facts of replacing a well loved venue with a larger, more manageable site yet still retain the family feel visitors have come to know and love.

We began searching for a new location soon after. Research produced a shortlist of prestigious sites around Derbyshire but in the end one location in particular was singled out as both practical and atmospheric enough to build upon.

Carnfield Hall
Carnfield Hall is only a stones throw from the Dewey Lane site used between 2007-2009 but offers twice the space, improved access and more possibilities for entertainment. Carnfield is a country house dating from the 15th and 16th Centuries, standing in its ancient deer park and surrounding woods, 1½ miles from junction 28 of the M1 on the Derbyshire/ Nottinghamshire border, a haven of tranquility to this day. Steeped in history it is an interesting site for us to host from and we look forward to presenting it to you in true RTTH style!
